Why it happens
The faucet sits behind hCaptcha, reCAPTCHA, or Cloudflare browser verification. These are blocked or broken by a lot of ordinary setups: content blockers, strict tracking protection, VPN exit nodes with a bad reputation, and privacy browsers all trigger failures the faucet reports as a captcha error.
How to fix it
- Disable your content blocker for the faucet domain. This fixes the majority of "captcha failed to load" cases outright.
- Turn the VPN off for the claim. Datacenter and shared-exit IPs are scored as high-risk, and captcha providers fail them regardless of what you do in the widget.
- Try a mainstream browser profile with default settings. Strict anti-fingerprinting settings break hCaptcha's challenge flow.
- Pick a faucet that doesn't use one. Our per-token pages flag captcha-gated faucets, and the homepage has a Hide captcha-gated filter.
