There are 3 HYPE testnet faucets in this list, on HyperEVM Testnet, Hyperliquid Testnet. Of these, 2 require a wallet connection. The most reliable right now is Hyperliquid Testnet Drip (100% uptime over the last 9 daily checks).
| Faucet | Dispenses | Cooldown | Requires | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| thirdweb HyperEVM Faucet | 0.01 HYPE | 24h | wallet | Working · 100% HTTP |
Is the Hyperliquid Testnet Drip down right now?
Status: Working — HTTP 200
Amount: Dispenses 1,000 mock USDC.
HTTP uptime: 100% across the last 9 daily checks (page reachability, not funds).
How to use it: The official faucet, for trading on Hyperliquid testnet rather than for HyperEVM gas. Gated: the same address must already have deposited on Hyperliquid MAINNET, so a fresh wallet cannot claim — a small USDC deposit over the Arbitrum bridge satisfies it. If you sign in by email, Privy issues a different wallet on testnet, so export the mainnet key into MetaMask or Rabby first. For HyperEVM gas (chain 998) use the Chainstack or thirdweb faucets instead.
Requires: a pre-existing mainnet balance (empty wallets can't claim), connecting a wallet.

Is the Chainstack HyperEVM Faucet down right now?
Status: Working — HTTP 200
Amount: Dispenses 1 HYPE, cooldown 24h.
HTTP uptime: 100% across the last 9 daily checks (page reachability, not funds).
How to use it: The largest HyperEVM drip of the three and the only one with no mainnet gate. Needs a free Chainstack account: sign in to the console, copy an API key from Settings, then paste your address on the faucet page. No wallet connection and no Twitter task.
Requires: signing in with Chainstack.

Is the thirdweb HyperEVM Faucet down right now?
Status: Working — HTTP 200
Amount: Dispenses 0.01 HYPE, cooldown 24h.
HTTP uptime: 100% across the last 9 daily checks (page reachability, not funds).
How to use it: Smallest drip, but the lowest friction if you already use thirdweb — connect a wallet (EOA or social login), one claim per chain per 24h. The faucet widget lives on the chain page; /faucet redirects here. Enough for gas, not for anything else.
Requires: connecting a wallet.

Getting test HYPE on Hyperliquid
Testnet faucets are run on a best-effort basis and break constantly: domains lapse, TLS certificates expire, rate limits tighten, and faucet wallets run dry. We re-check every HYPE faucet daily and record the cause of failure, so you can tell a dead faucet from a temporary blip before you waste time on it.
Faucets we can verify on-chain show the dispensing wallet's live balance and last payout — proof they're funded, not just reachable. For the rest, a "working" result means the faucet's page responded; it can't prove the tap has funds.
